Pirates of the Caribbean

I love this cake, it is my all time favorite. I did this for a ward cake walk. I made the things on top out of the lego set you could get. The shore is crushed up vanilla waffers, and the water is a glaze I died blue. It mad the biggest mess when I put the water on but it was still fun.

Sponge Bob Square Pants

Okay so I know this picture sucks, but it is the only copy I have of it. I did this for a girl I worked with for her nephew and she didn't give me a picture of it and I didn't think about taking one of my own until it was to late. So the only one I have is off my phone. I think this is one of the better cakes I have done.

Peace and Love

This was for my friends little brother. He is way into the hippy thing. So, that is my attempt at tide die. He loved it.

My Little Pony

My niece wanted a pony cake. So I found a set of my little ponys and made there paster and watering hole. She loved it, it is a little tacky in the colors but that was what she wanted.

Ninja Turtle

This was my Ninja Turtle one . I used crushed up oreos for the dirt and who doesn't like chocolate cake with oreos on it. My nephew loved it.

Hello Kitty

This is Hello Kitty, but around our house she is "kitty mow mow." This was for my niece and she loved it. It was one of the easier ones I have done

Frog Head

This was my attempt at in ice cream cake. It was really fun, my nephew was turning 2 and loved frogs, but his mother didn't want a regular cakes so we decided to do an ice cream one. One thing we learned is if you are going to use hard boiled eggs for eye on an ice cream cake put them on very last. We didn't, we put them on and then stuck it back in the freezer to harden up the ice cream again. So everything under the eyes tasted like mint flavored eggs, GROSS. But it still turned out really cute and he loved it so it all worked out.

Hannah Montana

This was my amazing Hannah Montana cake. My niece loves her and wanted a Hannah Montana cake. So I thought of a few different ways to make her one. But part of there cake is I get something that goes with there cake for there present. So I found the Barbie and (with help form my sister) we created her stage. When it came time to present the cake and sing happy birthday to her we made her close her eyes and started playing "Life's what you make it" by Hanna Montana and then let her open her eyes. She loved it, she got the hugest grin on her face. This one is defiantly one of my favorites.

Army

This was my army cake. It was fun to make this cake.

My brother and his wife came to take this picture for me and this was his added fun to the cake.

Pink Hart Cake

When I took the request for this on all she would say was "Pink with hearts" so that is what she got.

Barbie Cake

So this cake we couldn't actually eat since the inside was hollow. Yeah couldn't get it to bake right in the pan. But my niece loved it and still talks about it.

Spider Man

My nephew loves Spider Man, he would call him Gida Man. So for his last birthday I made him this and he was over the moon for it.

Princess Castle

This was one of the easiest cakes I did. I learned that sponge cake GROWS when you cook it. It exploded all over my oven and i had to cook it at my sisters house. But my niece loved it.

Guitar

This was my first attempt at fondant. I have since found out that buying fondant is not the way to go. It doesn't taste as yummy as a recipe I found and isn't as mold able. So it looks a little ghetto with the piecing on the side, but, OH WELL. You have to learn this by trial and error.

Kitty Cake

This was one of my first attempts at making a cake. I have learned a lot since then but I still like it. I did this for my nieces 2nd birthday . It was one of the harder cakes i have done and it took a really long time to do. But she liked it and i had fun doing it.

Batman

This the cake i did for my nephew. It took some creative thinking to get the finale piece. We originally tried to build a bat to go on the top, but we forgot to make sure it would fit on top of the cake first so we ended up just cutting it out of fondant and pasting it to the top. He loved it so that is all that matters.
